Festival Application Categories:
1. WA Gallery (art submission(s) for group show/sale) $30 per submission

WFAF'23 Festival General Information:
A) Festival Days/Open Hours: Sat. July 8 and Sun. July 9, 2023 (10:00am-5:00pm)
(WFAF'23 is a rain or shine event)
B) Check In/Set Up: Fri. July 7, between 11:00am - 5:00pm (you will be notified via email of your specific check in/set up time slot).
C) Festival Days: Sat. July 8 - Sun. July 9, Exhibitors must be set up by 9:30am each day of the festival. Booths must be open throughout the festival open hours of 10:00am-5:00pm with artist/artist representative or participant on site. Please keep your space clean and tidy.
D) Breakdown/Cleanup: Sun. July 9, 5:00pm. Participants may not breakdown their display during festival hours. Participants are responsible to leave their site clean, free of garbage/debris.
E) Booths/Tents: Single, double, or XL booth spaces available. Participants must provide their own weather resistant, weighted tent (staked tents not permitted), display system, and all items needed to showcase and sell their work. White tents preferred. Tents must be able to be fully enclosed and protect booth contents from all weather and conditions, and are to be fully enclosed with all four sides secured at close of festival hours each day. Displays must be able to withstand crowds, wind, rain, and all weather conditions.
F) Tent Rentals: To inquire about renting tents/tent accessories from outside vendor, please contact Mike at: MitchCo. Tent & Party Rentals, 3129 Main Street, Stratford, CT 06614, Phone: 203-378-5434, Email: mike@mitchcoparty.com. (supplies limited, first come/first serve)
G) Security: Overnight security will be provided. All participants are responsible for securing their booth/booth contents and protecting them from the elements. Neither WestonArts Inc., Weston BOE, nor the Town of Weston assume any responsibility or liability whatsoever for participants booths/booth contents.
H) Exhibitor/Participant Eligibility: The Weston Fine Arts Festival is open to all persons regardless of race creed or color, sexual orientation or national origin. We believe equal opportunity is extremely important and every individual is unique in their own way. We strive to create an open, inclusive, and equal environment in which every individual has the opportunity to flourish. The WestonArts committee reserves the right to refuse anyone that does not honor this DEI commitment.
I) Participant's Consent: By participating in the WFAF'23 all participants agree to allow usage of festival images, including images of art and merchandise, to be used by WestonArts Inc. for the purposes of marketing and promotional material.
J) Fully Refundable No-Show/Cleanup Deposit Fee: Upon acceptance into the festival, participants (excluding WA Gallery) will be required to pay a fully refundable no-show/cleanup deposit fee. This fee will be fully reimbursed (asap) after festival close with satisfactory return of space. Participants are required to set up during festival set up hours, and to be open during all open festival hours.

1. WA Gallery Application/Overview Info:
Artists, submit one-three piece(s) of your work (see WA Gallery art guidelines below) to apply to be eligible to join the WA Gallery - juried group show/sale. A non-refundable submission and processing fee is required to complete the application, pricing as follows: each submission $30.00. Submissions will be reviewed by our esteemed jurors. Selected work will be displayed in a large gallery style group exhibition. First, Second, Third, and Emerging Artist (age 25 and under) ribbons/cash prizes will be awarded and artists will be notified and invited to attend the WA Award Ceremony.
Artists have the option to exhibit their work and/or offer it for sale. Price to be determined by artist, 70% of purchase price to artist / 30% purchase price donation to WestonArts Inc. Art sales are made on site either through cash, or credit card. Art to be picked up by patron or by artist at the WA Gallery tent between 5-6pm on Sunday, July 9th, 2023.
WA will be offering to showcase art not sold over the weekend in the WestonArts|ArtCall Online Gallery. Please follow up with a WA representative to hear specific details of this opportunity.

WA Gallery Art Guidelines: All art submitted to be original art created by the submitting artist. Accepted art must arrive for check in at the rear entrance of the Weston Senior Center (walk to back of building to enter by the garden), 9 School Road, Weston, CT, Thursday, July 6th, 2023 during art check in/drop off hours of 3:00pm-7:00pm. All hanging art must be ready to hang and wired securely. Hanging art size maximum 36" x 36", 3D/Sculptures maximum size 5' tall x 2' wide (artist must provide suitable/sturdy table or stand if needed for display). Please note in application if sculpture is suitable for display outside the tented area.

WA Gallery Submission Steps Overview:

Weston artists and artisanal vendors (age 25 and under) are eligible for (10'x10' $1.00) booth space at the WFAF'23. Please note, art and merchandise on display is required to have been created by the emerging artist/vendor. WestonArts welcomes voluntary (tax deductible to the extent that the law applies) donations from our Emerging Artists/Artisanal Vendors. Activity Booth Space Guidelines: (children's & adult crafts, or other interactive offering) WestonArts will be offering a painting on canvas activity at the festival - similar activity is not eligible for application.

Weston Community Partners (examples: Weston Public Library, Lachat Town Farm, Weston Historical Society, Weston Girl/Boy Scouts, etc.) are eligible for (10'x10' $1.00) booth space at the Weston Fine Arts Festival 2023. WestonArts welcomes voluntary (tax deductible to the extent that the law applies) donations from our Community Partners. Note: If hosting activities in your booth/tent, activity must take pace in the interior booth/tent space and not spill over into the public area, please contact WestonArts to arrange for booth spaces larger than (10"x10') if needed.

7. Artist/Artisanal Vendor Market 6 ft. Table General Info:
(Artists and Artisanal Vendors table space in a large market style group tent) Included: one 6 ft. table with table covering, 1-2 chairs (as per participants request). Participants must provide all other display materials and supplies needed, and must limit art/goods to table top display area only. Participants are required to store supplies and other items neatly behind/under table throughout the festival. All items must be stored with suitable protection from all weather conditions.

Outdoor Sculpture/Artisanal Outdoor Merchandise Guidelines: All sculptures/displays are to be exhibited within the designated outdoor space. Merchandise should be of fine quality of an artisanal nature. All displays should be of subject matter suitable for general public. It is not our intention to censure any artwork; WA reserves the right to determine suitability of art on display.

Outdoor Sculpture/Artisanal Outdoor Merchandise Submission Overview:

Participants are required to provide all necessary equipment and utilities necessary for their setup. No water/electrical access available. Proof of food permits required.
